Thank you for visiting.
Based in regional South Australia, I found landscape photography (or it found me) in 2021 following a sizable life change.
What began as a very intentional approach to stopping, being present and watching the sun rise and sun set as often as possible grew into a desire to capture and share these moments with others, as there is no doubt that these times of the day in particular are some of the most spectacular conditions we see.
Initially utilising a mobile phone, this quickly led into investment in quality Sony camera equipment that now makes up my landscape photography tool kit.
For me, landscape photography has provided an outlet and an opportunity to explore our beautiful country, and beyond, with intent and purpose.
Landscape photography has forced me to slow down, view the world from different angles and enabled me to see so much beauty I’d previously missed.
Being in nature, with magical conditions and immersing yourself into capturing that moment with the camera absolutely leads me into my flow state and provides the ultimate form of meditation.
